One year of The Handel Project on makdelart's blog

On Sunday 4th March 2018 on this blog was launched a series of posts with Handel's works.
A list of all his published works can be seen on The Handel Project page.

On the occasion of this anniversary, I decided to make a summary and check how many of Handel's works still remained to be published.

This project includes all the recordings of his operas and oratorios officially published on CDs and in addition: Acis & Galatea (also Aci, Galatea e Polifemo) and Alexander's Feast.

I remind you that the condition that I set for myself is one: these must be my own rips with my own set of scans, that is - the presented recordings belong to my private collection.

Below I publish a list of Handel's works that are in my shopping plans for publication on the blog.

My plans for April (and next weeks)

Hello everyone,

April is the month of Easter, therefore the leitmotif will be Passions, as well as cantatas and music for Easter of various composers (a lot of Bach).
Posts will be published more often than usual, I plan to present dozens of recordings.
These recordings will be certainly known to you, but I think it's worth recalling them at this festive time.

After Easter I would like to take a little rest from the blog. Posts will continue to appear, but irregularly.
I have a lot of different boxsets that I would like to rip and scan. Then I will share them on the blog, of course. But I need time for this.

Greetings to all
makdelart
